This multi-layered painting technique uses mixed media. Characters and images from popular culture taken out of comic books and magazines or manipulated in photoshop are painted onto the canvas. Fusing these contemporary or traditional images with different mediums like acrylic, markers, pigments and stencils create deep multiple layers that visually stand out.
