This multi-layer painting technique is inspired by urban culture. It is a fusion of street art and pop art switching easily from the abstract to the figurative combining different paint styles and typography.

Characters and images from popular culture taken out of comic books and magazines or manipulated in photoshop are collaged onto the canvas. Fusing these contemporary or traditional images with different mediums like acrylic, markers, pigments and stencils create deep multiple layers that visually stand out.

Mixing different media and materials in the art work pushes creative boundaries and give two-dimensional works interesting texture and unique 3D elements.
